A Quiet Afternoon

A Quiet Afternoon began as a stack of paintings — a tortoiseshell cat moving through the small rooms and side streets of an ordinary day. A ladder, a scooter, a window, the first snow.

We kept one garment, one paper-cream ground, one signature, and let each scene keep its own character. Read together, the line is a book of plates; worn one at a time, it is a single quiet picture on your back.
